I have FINALLY made a layout. I have had no inpiration for what feels like forever. I was on such a roll for a while, cranking out 3-4 layouts a day, 3-4 days a week! I went to CKC Valley Forge on Friday and picked up a few things, including this Imaginisce paper from the To Love and Cheris line. I used the sketch from Sketches In Thyme and added some $1 bling I got from CKC! LOVE cheap bling! Flower is by Heidi Swapp and the lettering is Making Memories, Prima and Oriental Trading. Pearl stem from AC Moore and the tulle butterfly I also got at CKC. The photos are from our trip to Antigua and I have scrapped them before but I turned them B&W and they look like completely different photos!!
On a more personal note, I am asking any of you that pray to please add my mom to your prayers. She has congestive heart failure and has for years. Friday morning while I was at CKC she was admited to the hospital with what they thought was a flare up of CGH. Usually that does not alarm me all that much, as she is fine once they get it under control. However this morning I got a call that she has a fairly good amount of blockage in 3 arteries leading to her heart which is what is causing the breathing issues, not the CGH as we first thought. She will undergo an open heart catheterization sometime tomorrow and for some reason, this time I am scared to death. She's had an angioplasty done before but apparently this is far more radical and carries greater risk. Her aorta is far too blocked for a simple angioplasty. My mom is 72 years old and I'm not ready to let go of her yet. Please hold us up in prayer that she comes through the surgery. I will end this here as I can feel my tears building up and my daughter and her friend are here and I don't want to upset them.

I have missed seeing you as well! Glad that we could be the inspiration you needed to get back to scrapping! You know I simply adore your style and love every single layout you create!
I'm praying that God will lift your family up and that your mother will come through this tomorrow with a healing hand from our God, remember, He is mighty and holds healing powers in His hands and in prayer!
